Inspired from post-humanism, Afrofuturism and astronomy, Cherish Menzo explores the ways dark matter and black holes meet and collide to give birth to a new, futuristic and enigmatic body.

In DARKMATTER, the duet Cherish Menzo and Camilo Meija Cortes look for ways to detach their bodies and the daily reality in which they move from imposed biased perceptions and the stories we attribute to it. They applies the Chopped and Screwed method to the movement language to experiment the effects of tempo distortions on the performing body, with the alienating rap anthems by Distorted Rap Choir.

DARKMATTER wants to create a thorough reshuffle of our atoms, looking for a new form for - and way of looking at - our body and the complexe world to which it relates.
